Breaking News and image of Senator Banks
Big News: Senator Banks, Republican of Indiana, Backs the Bipartisan SEPSIS Act.

We have exciting news: Senator Jim Banks (R-IN) has signed on to co-sponsor the SEPSIS Act (S.1929)!

Senator Banks serves on the powerful Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee, which must approve the bill before it can advance to the Senate for a full vote. His support is especially meaningful as we work to build the bipartisan momentum needed to move this lifesaving legislation forward.

Jim Banks Quote

Senator Banks now joins a growing bipartisan coalition of influential senators who have thrown their support behind the bill.A companion bill has also been introduced in the House, and we are working hard to build support there as well.

Senator Banks’ support was secured because his constituents spoke up and made their voices heard. Special thanks to Lisa Bartlett and Kevin Mahan for their leadership in Indiana. Now, we need you to do the same.

Please take just a moment to email your members of Congress through our advocacy platform and urge them to support the SEPSIS Act. Every message demonstrates public support and helps move this bill closer to passage.
