Welcome to Sepsis Families United.
Sepsis Families United (SFU) is a compassionate community of sepsis survivors and grieving loved ones who have lost family members to this devastating condition. Our members come seeking support, healing, answers, and ways to reclaim life after sepsis—while also working to ensure that others do not endure the same tragedy. Many in our community are driven by a shared mission: to end preventable deaths from sepsis through public awareness and systemic change to the national healthcare system.
SFU serves two purposes:
- It provides support for families seeking information, empathy and community following an experience with sepsis
- It operates as an advocacy group, driving education, awareness, policy and legislative initiatives that aim to end preventable deaths from sepsis
About the Sepsis Families United Listserv.
The SFU listserv is a welcoming space where members who are sepsis survivors, sepsis caregivers and those who have lost a loved one to sepsis can connect, support one another and share their stories, while also allowing individuals to find others with similar experiences to connect with directly. Through the listserv, END SEPSIS shares important updates, resources, and opportunities for members to get involved in advocacy efforts and new campaigns aimed at ending preventable sepsis deaths. **Please note that while anyone concerned about sepsis can be a member of Sepsis Families United, only those who indicate on the SFU signup form that they are a survivor or caregiver or have lost someone to sepsis can join the listserv.**
